The Lightning - digital AV adapter can be used with iPhone, iPad and iPod devices with a Lightning connector. With the Lightning digital AV adapter, you can mirror the content on your device's display - e.g. applications, presentations, websites, slide shows - to devices with an HDMI connection (television, display, projector or other compatible device) in up to 1080p HD resolution.

The adapter also supports the playback of video content (such as movies, series, video recordings) on a large screen with up to 1080p HD resolution. To do this, it is sufficient to connect the Lightning - digital AV adapter on one side to the Lightning connector of your device, and the other end to the television or projector with an HDMI cable (purchased separately).
