The APC Back-UPS BXR1600MI-GR is a 1600 VA tower-style uninterruptible power supply designed to protect computers, game consoles and routers from power outages and voltage fluctuations. Its four CEE 7/3 Schuko outlets provide battery backup and surge protection with a 273 J energy absorption rating.

Automatic voltage regulation (AVR) smooths out mains fluctuations without switching to battery power. The line-interactive topology offers a nominal output of 900 W, with a typical transfer time of 6 ms. An LED status display, a USB port and compatibility with PowerChute Serial Shutdown software make monitoring straightforward.

The replaceable VRLA battery (24 V, 7 Ah) takes about 6 hours to charge and provides roughly 6.5 minutes of runtime at half load. The unit measures 190 x 140 x 390 mm, weighs 10.8 kg, operates at 40 dBA and has an IP20 protection rating.
