Active metering provided by APC's metered rack power distribution units (PDUs) enables energy optimization and circuit protection. The device can warn of possible current overloads with a real-time local and remote alarm using the alarm threshold that can be set by the user. Metered rack PDUs manage power usage, allowing data center operators to make informed decisions about load balancing and equipment sizing, reducing total cost of ownership. Metered rack PDUs feature real-time power monitoring, a temperature/humidity sensor port, lockable IEC receptacles, and ultra-low profile circuit breakers. The metered rack PDUs can be accessed, configured and controlled via a secure web connection, SNMP or Telnet. In doing so, you can use the InfraStruXure Central, Operations, Capacity and Energy Efficiency applications available from APC's central management interface.
Includes: installation instructions, frame mounting brackets, safety instructions, serial adjustment cable
NetShelter Metered Rack PDUs Features and Benefits

Display for local power supply monitoring
The total current absorbed by the power distribution unit can be viewed on the digital display on the unit. Thanks to separate digital displays, installers can avoid overloading individual circuits, thanks to the fact that when the current draw approaches the maximum amperage value of the strip feed line, the system will give a visual warning. (Note: only for designated SKUs.)

Load indicator LED
Indicates overload and warning conditions based on user-defined alarm thresholds. It warns users about possible overload.

It can be updated with Flash
Due to future developments, the firmware can be updated quickly and easily over the network. As a result, there is no need to replace the equipment installed on site, in the event of the appearance of new functions. (Note: only for network units)

Alarm thresholds
Set alarm thresholds to avoid overloading circuits. Network and visual alerts draw the user's attention to potential problems. (Note: Only available for units with power monitoring feature. See SKU specifications for this.)

Integrate with StruxureWare Data Center Expert
The scalable supervisor and monitoring platform enables real-time device monitoring and event reporting.

Remote monitoring capabilities
Professional network control interfaces that enable standard management on a Web interface or with SNMP or Telnet protocols. Users can access the system from a remote location, configure and manage the units, thus saving valuable time. (Note: only for networked systems.)
Speed:

Wide range of input and output connections
The range has a variety of input and output connections for distribution to 120, 208 or 230 V power outlets. Multiple inputs and outputs allow users to adapt to changing power needs. APC offers units that provide up to 5.7 kW of power using a single branch line.

Single input power source
Several devices can be powered from one branch line, so that the power supply of the devices placed in the rack can be adequately ensured. Save time and money during installation by using an extension cord and standard connections.

Can be installed in a rack cabinet
The units can be conveniently and easily installed in 19" racks or cabinets, taking up only 1U of rack space. The power supply can be accessed where it is most needed, in the racks.

Alarm thresholds
Definition of alarm thresholds to prevent circuit overload. Network and visual alerts alert the user to potential problems.

Thanks to separate digital displays, installers can avoid overloading individual circuits, thanks to the fact that when the current draw approaches the maximum amperage value of the strip feed line, the system will give a visual warning.
