Anna Jansson - Nélkülük

Vera Bark frantically ran away from her bachelorette party on the shores of Lake Hjälmaren, got into a boat and disappeared. Five years have passed since then, and her father, crime inspector Kristoffer Bark, still tirelessly scours the lake area for his daughter, looking for clues. Everyone believes that Vera drowned, but the uncertainty does not let Kristoffer rest.

Three years after Vera's bachelorette party, a young nurse from the same town also disappeared, and the investigation was closed in this case as well. However, Kristoffer Bark unearths the case from the dead files. The missing woman looks eerily similar to her own daughter, and it soon becomes clear: there are no coincidences. The two cases are much more closely intertwined than he thought at first...

Nélkülük is the first volume of Anna Jansson's Kristoffer Bark series.
