Each Animal Crossing amiibo card pack contains three Animal Crossing amiibo cards. One of these three is always a special amiibo card. You can use such cards in several games to welcome a special visitor or to have various animals as guests. Each card can be used in multiple copies of the game software, so you can not only collect them, but also exchange them with your friends.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo!
Expand your Animal Crossing horizons with a free update released in Fall 2016! Once installed, Animal Crossing amiibo figures and cards will become compatible with the game. Touch your favorite town's amiibo card to the console to invite them to visit your town. You can also scan amiibo figures from other series to get furniture pieces for that character in the game!

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer
Scan your amiibo card to receive special design requests! If you use an Animal Crossing amiibo card or amiibo figure, you can design that animal's home. In fact, you can even design the homes of characters who don't usually come to you with requests, such as K.K.! You can also use Animal Crossing amiibo cards to invite animals into any home or city building you design and set up the perfect photo locations. If you invite the animals to a city building, you can even assign roles to them: you can choose teachers for your school, salespeople for your shop, and so on!

Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival
Use Animal Crossing amiibo cards to play the game and unlock extras! You will need at least one Animal Crossing amiibo device to use the Animal Crossing Board Game attraction, and they can optionally be used during the Quiz Show attraction. You even have the option to save data to your Animal Crossing game.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Scan any Animal Crossing amiibo figure or amiibo card and expand your Animal Crossing: New Horizons experience! Print posters to decorate your home, set up photo shoots on the island of Photopia, or invite your favorite characters to camp on your island. Who knows, they might even stay on the island forever!

Set up a camping camp and create the opportunity to meet even more friends! You can even use your Animal Crossing amiibo cards to invite select residents to your campsite. Help them out by fulfilling some of their requests, and maybe they'll consider moving to your island for good!

You can use Amiibo devices on New Nintendo 3DS, New Nintendo 3DS XL and New Nintendo 2DS XL consoles by touching them to the NFC area on the bottom screen. You can also choose the NFC Writer/Reader accessory, which allows you to use amiibo devices on Nintendo 2DS, Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL consoles. You can also use amiibo devices on your Wii U console by using the NFC touch point on the Wii U GamePad. On your Nintendo Switch console, you can use amiibo devices by touching the NFC touch point on the joystick of the right Joy-Con controller.
