AMMO Airfield Dust Pigment AMIG3011 is a very fine, powdered modelling aid designed to recreate realistic airfield and military runway environments. The powder closely imitates the layer of dust and ground grime that builds up on vehicles, aircraft and equipment surfaces.
The pigment is easy to apply to a range of surfaces, whether metal, plastic or plaster. It works well alongside acrylic and oil paints as well as fixatives, allowing durable and natural-looking effects to be achieved during priming and weathering.
This product is ideal for capturing a dusty, grimy outdoor appearance, particularly on aircraft models in 1:35 and 1:72 scale. Combined with similar pigments, it can be used to create a wide variety of weathering effects.
