The Alphacool Shroud is a 120 mm fan frame and vibration damping kit designed to reduce the noise of fans mounted in a computer case. Its 7 mm thick silicone insert absorbs the vibrations produced by the fan during operation, resulting in noticeably quieter performance.
The kit is compatible only with 120 mm fans. Four M3x37 mm screws are included to make installation in the case straightforward. The flexibility of the silicone material provides good vibration-isolating properties. Measuring 120 x 120 x 7 mm and weighing 30 grams, the accessory is compact and easy to fit.
