The Alphacool Core is a two-component thermal conductive adhesive designed specifically for fixing heatsinks onto the voltage regulators (VRM) of a motherboard. The two parts, adhesive and activator, are mixed in a 4:1 ratio before use.
At 25 °C the surface cures in about two hours, while full curing takes 5 to 7 days at the same temperature. The boiling point is above 200 °C and the flash point is above 88 °C, allowing safe use in electronics environments.
The package contains 5 grams of adhesive, enough to attach several heatsinks. Protective gloves and eye protection are recommended during handling, and adequate ventilation should be ensured where the product is applied.
