Alexandra Bracken - Világok utazói

Etta Spencer is a time traveler. But that's not the only reason he's special: he's the only one who can find the astrolabe, which can open gateways between worlds and with which he can protect his loved ones from other scheming time travelers. However, instead of tracking him down, he finds himself in mortal danger in an unknown place and time, at the mercy of those who are also on the hunt for the magical object. It is a greater loss for the girl that her love, Nicholas, has been lost. However, Etta gets help in the most unexpected form: she makes an alliance with Julian Ironwood, the Grandmaster's successor, whom everyone has believed to be dead for quite some time. The situation becomes more complicated when Etta comes into possession of secrets that could be fatal. Nicholas is also racing against time to find out where Etta has gone. Along the way, he encounters a warrior, the sassy Li Min, and welcomes Sophia, his stubborn and strong-willed cousin, as his companion. As the three of them try to outwit their pursuers together, they learn over time that their own companions may also have something to hide. As Etta and Nicholas fight from Imperial Russia to the catacombs of the Vatican to find each other again, time changes into something unrecognizable...and it may defeat them both.
