    The AKAI AMD-300 is a wireless microphone set with a dynamic cardioid capsule that picks up voice and vocals mainly from the front while reducing background noise. Audio is transmitted digitally on the VHF band between 174 and 216 MHz. A unique 32-bit digital ID pilot technology helps the system avoid interference, even when other devices operate on the same frequency nearby.

    The transmission uses a 48 kHz sampling rate and a frequency response from 50 Hz to 18 kHz. An ultra-low latency of just 2.5 ms, a signal-to-noise ratio of 96 dB and a distortion level of only 0.05% deliver clear, natural sound. In open space, the working range is about 20 to 30 metres.

    The transmitter is powered by a 3.7 V 18650 lithium battery. The set is well suited to lectures, presentations and live performances where reliable, discreet audio transmission is needed.
