The AIWA BBTU-400BK is a portable black boombox that combines a CD player, USB playback and Bluetooth in one compact unit. Using Bluetooth v5.0 with EDR, you can wirelessly stream music from a smartphone or tablet, with a stated range of at least 10 metres. The CD player handles CD, CD-R, CD-RW and MP3 discs, and the built-in FM PLL radio stores up to 40 preset stations.

The speakers deliver a total of 6 W RMS output. A large LCD display with white backlighting keeps the controls and information easy to read. The alarm clock can wake you to the CD, radio, USB or a beep, and it includes a sleep timer. The USB port plays MP3 files directly from a storage device.

An aux-in socket (3.5 mm) lets you connect external devices, and a stereo headphone jack allows private listening. The unit runs on mains power or on six UM-2 batteries, which are not included.
