ACADEMY HOBBY MODELL KITS 1/72 USMC F-35B Lightning II VMFA-242 Bats fighter aircraft model AC12592

This 1:72 scale model kit depicts the F-35B Lightning II fighter-bomber flown by the United States Marine Corps (USMC), finished in the markings of the VMFA-242 "Bats" squadron. The F-35B is the short takeoff and vertical landing (STOVL) variant of the stealth fighter, operated by the Marines.

The kit features detailed plastic parts that capture the distinctive lines of this modern fifth-generation combat aircraft. Once assembled, the model faithfully reproduces the jet's stealth geometry and detailed cockpit.

The package includes all parts needed for assembly, decals and an instruction manual. The finished model is a fitting addition to any aircraft model collection and a good starting point for hobbyists interested in painting and modelling.
