The Peltor CH-3 FLX2 from 3M is a neckband hearing protector with a built-in PTT button for use with a two-way radio. It is best suited to environments with high industrial or machinery noise where radio communication is needed. Connection to the radio requires an FLX2 cable, which uses a six-pin mini XLR connector.
A newly developed headband and slim ear cups provide comfortable wear. A detachable connector adds flexibility. More efficient speakers and a noise-filtering microphone head improve speech clarity. The PTT button is located on the ear cup, and the microphone is waterproof to IP68. The attenuation rating is 28 dB.
The bright yellow colour offers excellent visibility. The device weighs 292 g.
