Time is apparently timeless in Aesop's fables. Even though thousands of years have passed since their creation, the stories of the legendary Greek storyteller still provide lessons to be taken to heart. By reading the adventures of the sly fox, the proud lion or the clingy jackal, we can learn a lot about human frailty, altruism and honesty, and the humorous illustrations are a great addition and show these old classics from a new perspective.
