Product description
There was something good about communism. You know what? That the party protected Europe from immigrants. However, this will not last long
The characters of Kepplová's short novels are modern nomads, young people who were born into the borderless, globalized world and can find a home anywhere, be it Eastern or Western Europe, Paris, Helsinki, London, Bratislava or Budapest. Expats who, instead of scones baked in ashes, go out into the world with world-changing ideas, and then yearn for the warmth of home, tattooing the name of their favorite food on themselves. Current sociology in a literary guise.
ZUSKA KEPPLOVÁ (1982) was born in Bratislava and graduated from the Bratislava Academy of Music, majoring in dramaturgy and screenwriting. After graduating, she enrolled in the Gender Studies major of the Central European University in Budapest, then continued her studies at the State University of New York as a Fullbright scholarship holder.
