Product description
The xTool mBot2 V1.0 is a STEM learning robot designed to introduce programming and robotics, as well as topics such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT) and data analysis. Its control unit is the CyberPi, built around an ESP32 microprocessor, which includes an integrated microphone and light sensor. The kit also features an external Ultrasonic Sensor 2 and a Quad RGB Sensor, along with precision motors with encoders. The robot can follow lines, detect obstacles, react to light and sound, and carry out precisely programmed movements.

The CyberPi supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB connections. Programs can be written with block-based coding, which makes it easy to learn the basics of algorithms, or in Python, allowing users to move on to more advanced programming over time. The software can be used on both computers and mobile devices, so the robot works at home as well as in classroom settings.

The motors measure rotation with 1° accuracy and reach speeds of up to 200 rpm, making direction and distance easier to control. With the mBot2 Shield, external components, including those compatible with the Makeblock ecosystem, can be connected, so users can expand their projects and build their own creations in class, in a makerspace or at home.
