XIAOMI Mi Air Purifier/Purifier 2/Purifier Pro air purifier REPLACEMENT filter antibacterial PURPLE

This replacement filter with a purple casing is designed for the Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier, Purifier 2 and Purifier Pro, and is compatible with the 2, 2S and Pro models. It combines a pre-filter for larger particles made of polyester with a layer of high-quality coconut-shell activated carbon and an antibacterial coating. According to the manufacturer, it filters PM2.5 particles and formaldehyde and achieves an antibacterial effect of 99 percent.

The antibacterial coating is said to block the nutrient supply of bacteria, which then lose their activity. The filter is also rated for mould and dust mite filtration. Its layers are designed to resist oil, grease and chemicals, which supports a longer service life.

Replacement is simple, as the three filter layers are fitted together as one cylindrical unit. The manufacturer recommends changing it at least every six months, or more often depending on use. The Mi Home app lets you track the filter's remaining life and notifies you when it needs replacing.
