The colored LED indicators (green, yellow, red) provide information about the operating status, low battery level and alarm mode. The X-Sense CO03D reacts to different levels of carbon monoxide concentration at different times, which minimizes the risk of false alarms, but at the same time ensures a fast enough indication of real danger. At a concentration of 30 ppm, the alarm sounds after 120 minutes, at 50 ppm after 60-90 minutes, and at a concentration of 300 ppm after only 3 minutes. This means that the device is sensitive enough to warn of danger long before critical levels are reached.
