The VIOFO A229 PRO is the first in the industry to use two advanced Sony STARVIS 2 sensors, one for the front and one for the rear camera. The IMX678 front and IMX675 rear sensors provide impressive dynamic range and excellent light sensitivity. As a result, they eliminate noise and blur, producing exceptionally sharp and detailed images in all lighting conditions.

The front camera records in stunning 4K quality with the Sony STARVIS 2 1/1.8'' 8MP image sensor, which contains more pixels for greater clarity and detail, even in low light conditions. The sensor provides a wider dynamic range in a single exposure and supports 4K HDR technology, providing low noise, eliminating motion blur and revealing more detail.

The rear camera records in improved 2K resolution with the Sony STARVIS 2 1/2.8'' 5MP image sensor, which takes rear-facing recording to a new level. The sensor has an impressive 2.5 times wider dynamic range, so it captures exceptionally clear and sharp videos during day and night shooting.

The HDR technology integrated into both cameras effectively balances the light and dark areas of the image. As a result, the A229 PRO excels in challenging lighting conditions such as sudden light changes, glare and night driving. Every detail, from road signs to license plates, remains clear and legible.

The advanced voice control system in multiple languages ​​(English/Chinese/Russian/Japanese) allows you to operate the device comfortably without taking your hands off the steering wheel. A simple command is enough to start or stop recording, take a photo or turn Wi-Fi on/off. The function clearly notifies you of setting changes or memory card errors, so you can fully concentrate on the road.

It is possible to record video without sound at an optional frame rate: 1/2/3/5/10 fps, saving storage space and power. Low bitrate recording, on the other hand, ensures continuous, small file size recording with sound, which helps to save space on the microSD card.

The built-in 5 GHz Wi-Fi enables the immediate transfer of recordings to a smartphone. Alternatively, with a USB-C connection, download speeds can reach up to 20 MB/s, which is especially useful for large 4K files. This feature also simplifies software updates, giving you continuous access to new features. (Use a USB 2.0 Type-C data cable and make sure your phone supports 5V2A output. This data transfer method is compatible with iPhone 15 series and newer Android smartphones.)

VIOFO A229 PRO offers three parking monitoring modes: automatic event detection, time-lapse recording and low bit rate recording. The system immediately records suspicious movements around the vehicle, records 15 seconds before the event and 30 seconds after the event, making the system an indispensable guardian of your car.

Thanks to the advanced Quad-Mode GPS module, the video recorder follows the vehicle's position with unprecedented accuracy. It supports up to four satellite systems: GPS, BeiDou, Galileo and GLONASS, providing stable and fast positioning. The route, speed and driving time can be played back on the saved recordings.

A229 PRO automatically overwrites the oldest recordings to make room for new files. Thanks to the built-in G-sensor, any sudden braking, collision or jolt is immediately recorded, so you can replay the exact event. You don't have to worry about accidentally deleting important recordings!
