The VILPE KLAPA150N is a metal backdraft damper for ventilation ducts with a diameter of 150 mm. Installed inline, it helps prevent unwanted airflow from reversing and keeps cold air and unpleasant odours from entering the ventilation system.
Its housing is made of galvanised steel, with two lightweight aluminium flaps. A built-in spring keeps the damper closed when there is no airflow, and it opens automatically when extraction starts. The KLAPA150N can be fitted in horizontal or vertical duct sections and meets airtightness class D requirements. It is suitable for installation upstream of cooker hoods and bathroom fans.
