Veronika Sikulová - Tulipánból paprika

In the world of Veronika Šikulová, Slovak and Hungarian characters talk to each other, while the author takes stock of her childhood, teenage years, and parents. In his series of short stories, the narratives build on each other, but each can be interpreted independently. It's as if the reader is playing with a kaleidoscope - in the constantly changing refraction of light, a diverse and rich narrative world takes on new and new patterns, and it's as if the author suggests: it's enough to move something, change the angle of view, replace a sentence or a word, and the story changes.
