Gedeon Gőgös Gúnár was known by generations of parents and schoolchildren. Most of the stories and poems were written with an intentionally incomplete set of letters, so that even first-graders who do not yet know the entire alphabet could read them independently. In the table of contents, next to the titles of the tales and poems, it is indicated which phoneme the given text helps to teach and practice. Where a separate vowel is not indicated, the ones you have learned so far can be repeated. We hope that first-graders who learn both uppercase and lowercase letters will enjoy this version of Gőgös Gúnár Gedeon as much as the readers of previous editions. The volume is decorated with original, colorful drawings by Kató K. Lukáts.
