Vallejo's Surface Primer series includes acrylic primers that dry to a matte finish and are available in a variety of shades. It is most often used to prepare the surface of maquettes, models, miniature figures, and board game figures before starting the painting process. The primer can be applied to all surfaces, resin, plastic, white metal, wood, etc. Surfaces primed with Vallejo Surface Primer preserve even the smallest details of the miniatures and improve the adhesion of later applied colors. It is recommended to apply it in several layers using a brush or spray paint. After application, it forms an extremely hard and resistant homogeneous layer on the surface within a few hours. For airbrush use, dilute with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner/Flow Improver thinners.
