UNI-T UT692G fiber optic tester

The UNI-T UT692G is a fiber optic meter designed to measure optical power and signal loss in fiber optic networks. Its extended measurement range of -50 to +26 dBm makes it well suited to working with higher-power signals. Support for wavelengths between 800 and 1700 nm, stored reference values and an InGaAs sensor allow the device to be configured quickly and deliver stable, repeatable measurement results.

For fieldwork, the meter features a backlit LCD display, data memory and a user calibration function, which simplifies everyday network diagnostics. A built-in flashlight helps in poorly lit areas, while automatic shut-off helps reduce power consumption. The IP65-rated housing protects against dust and splashing water, and the device withstands a drop from 2 metres, making it practical for mobile use.

The package includes the fiber optic meter, three AA batteries, a carrying bag and the user manual.
