The UNI-T UT07B-EU mains socket tester is an extended version of the UT07A-EU model, which offers a built-in residual current device (RCD) in addition to standard cable diagnostics. Thanks to this, the device not only detects irregularities in the equipment's cabling, but also allows checking the effectiveness of the protection against electric shock.
The most important difference of the UT07B-EU model is the presence of the RCD test function. The device generates a leakage current of about 30 mA, which allows you to check that the residual current circuit breaker is working properly. This is especially important in new equipment where the RCD is the primary element of protection against electric shock.
The UT07B-EU enables the detection of common faults such as missing neutral or protective conductors, interchange of phase and neutral conductors, and incorrect grounding connections. Thanks to the clear light signals, the user immediately knows what problem he is facing.
The tester operates at a voltage of 230 V and a frequency of 50-60 Hz, i.e. it fully complies with European network standards. This makes the device suitable for most equipment in homes, offices or workshops.
