The UGREEN CM847 is an external enclosure for two M.2 NVMe SSDs with PCIe connectivity, using the USB4 interface to deliver data transfer speeds of up to 40 Gb/s. It is designed for anyone who wants to turn an internal SSD into fast portable storage. Transferring large files, 4K video projects or extensive game libraries is considerably quicker than with conventional USB 3.2 enclosures.

The aluminium housing doubles as a heatsink and dissipates heat from the drives across a large surface. Dual thermal pads improve heat transfer from the drive to the housing, while a small fan and ventilation openings support airflow during long transfers. The enclosure works in Plug & Play mode without installing additional drivers and is compatible with Windows, macOS and Linux.

Weighing 200 g with a compact design, it is easy to carry in a laptop bag. An LED indicates the operating status: a steady light signals standby or sleep mode, while a flashing light shows data being read or written.
