Ubiquiti UNIFI U7 in-Wall (U7-IW) is a wall-mounted Wi-Fi 7 (802.11BE) access point designed specifically for catering and high density environments. The device has four spatial streams and is equipped with an integrated 2.5 GBE POE switch that allows you to connect and power multiple devices through a single unit.

The 2.4GHz band offers 688 Mbps and the 5GHz band up to 4.3 Gbps with a maximum data rate with 2x2 MU-MIMO support on both lanes. The coverage area is about 115 m² and is capable of serving more than 200 client devices. Built-in antennas provide 8 DBI at 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz to 4 DBI, resulting in a strong and stable signal.

The device has three 2.5 GBE RJ45 ports, one of which serves as POE+ inputs, while the other provides POE output, allowing additional devices such as IP phones or other network devices. Maximum energy consumption is 13 W (without POE output) and 42.5-57 V DC.

Software features include 802.11R rapid wandering between wireless networks, lane control, guest network isolation, private pre-shared key (PPSK), and managing VLANs assigned by dynamic Radius. It also supports the Wi-Fi schedule, the separation of devices, and the Hotspot 2.0 and Captive Portal features.

Its compact size (137 x 98.7 x 30.2 mm) and 400g weights discreetly on the wall and is aesthetically pleasing to modern interiors.
