This red velvet cake mix makes a moist, vibrant red cake that is simple to prepare at home. It is gluten-free, lactose-free and palm oil-free, and contains no hydrogenated fats, making it a suitable choice for health-conscious people and those with a sensitive digestive system.

Preparation is straightforward: mix the contents of the pack with 140 g of butter and 200 g of egg for five minutes, then bake at 170 °C for 45 to 50 minutes in a tin measuring 18 to 20 cm. For a lactose-free version, replace the butter with 140 g of vegetable oil.

The mix is made from rice flour, corn starch and rice starch and flavoured with cocoa powder. It works well both for special occasions and everyday treats.
