The Tapo HB112 is a pan-and-tilt outdoor security camera from TP-LINK with a 3-megapixel sensor, a 4 mm lens and a resolution of 2304 x 1296 pixels. It is suited to monitoring homes, gardens and yards, and offers two-way audio and infrared night vision for recording in the dark.
This kit includes two cameras, each powered by a solar panel, so they can run without a mains connection. With an IP65 rating the units are protected against rain and dust. The cameras connect over Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and accept a memory card.
The central unit detects motion, people and vehicles using artificial intelligence. Recordings are stored on the built-in 16 GB memory or on an expandable hard drive, with no subscription fee.
