The compilation of the author's book was preceded by several years of research, examining the legislative proposals to create equal opportunities. How many wheelchair users live in Hungary today and how many people /parents, family members/ are affected by this problem: accessibility at school and in other areas of life, - what is the daily life of disabled people like? The author deals with relocation, institutions, and reception: he indicates the multitude of problems with a series of concrete cases. The purpose of the research was to investigate whether wheelchair users in our country receive the appropriate opportunities, whether they have the opportunity to establish an employment relationship on a daily basis, to visit healing institutions in order to preserve their health, - to live a quality social life that belongs to all people.
