    The Toshiba MG11 is an enterprise hard drive offering 18 TB of storage in a 3.5-inch form factor, connected through a 12 Gb/s SAS interface. It runs at 7,200 RPM and includes a 1 GB cache buffer. Conventional magnetic recording (CMR) technology delivers consistent write performance under sustained workloads.

    The MG11 series uses Toshiba's FC-MAMR (Flux Control Microwave Assisted Magnetic Recording) technology and is built with ten platters in a helium-sealed enclosure. It is rated for an MTTF of 2.5 million hours and a workload rating of 550 TB per year, designed for reliable, long-term operation.

    This drive suits servers, NAS devices, data centres, video surveillance and storage systems. It supports the 512e/4Kn sector format, and optional SED and SIE encryption further strengthen data security. The drive weighs approximately 730 g.
