Tomaji Attila - Saját sors

Product description
In Attila Tomaji's new volume, the noble poetry with an elegiac tone continues to mature. He swims against the tide: not irony, but devotion, not lean prose, but lyricism shapes the poems, most of which were born in the shadow of death. He takes stock of the pieces of the world with his farewell eyes. The cognac-brown trees, stretched in the wind, with twisted trunks, behind which the warning finger of Ágnes Nagy Nemes rises, or, also remembering Zoltán Jékely, the whale of clouds passing over the plane trees. He presents Kosztolányi's poem to his friends: "This is what autumn brought, men to the garden of Zebegény..." He swims in the stream of poetry by connecting with poets, and also feeds his own continuity with poems lifted from the previous volume. The title of the volume comes from this poem:
"Waking up and going to bed on a lifetime of stretched water
the mirage continent of its own destiny is carried by the mad wind.
The present is rolling without time in the immeasurable dawn:
there's no way I can keep myself together with rhymes anymore."
The unrelenting march of the voice draws the reader in with its veiled melody and encourages it with the promise of continuation.
