A wonderful thing happened. A weird guy named Dwight was folding a Yoda-shaped finger puppet out of paper. (That's not the amazing part, it's just plain Dwight weirdness.) The amazing thing was that this paper Yoda gave great advice. She could predict flying dogs, know if a boy liked a girl, and a dozen other ways to keep kids from getting themselves into trouble. Almost every sixth grader took it for granted: Paper Yoda uses the Force.
But now, a year later, dark times are upon McQuarrie Elementary. Dwight is suspended, maybe even fired, so Paper Yoda is no more. And worst of all, Yoda was replaced by Hajt Vader, a finger puppet manipulated by Harvey, Dwight's archenemy. He oozes depravity and evil, and that may be why Dwight was suspended in the first place. The students at McQuarrie Elementary do everything they can to keep the guy from being kicked out. This book is the fruit of their work.
