Tiare means flower in Tahitian, tiara in Maohi means tiara flower. Tiare Absolute is extracted from the flowers of the tropical shrub Gardenia taitensis with their sweet scent and beautiful white star-like petals in Tahiti. The Tiare flower is a symbol of Tahiti and the Polynesian Islands, and is often celebrated as the flower of love. They wear these flowers in the hair, behind the ears, as necklaces or crowns. Necklaces made of tiare and other local flowers are given to guests as a sign of welcome.
Gardenia taitensis is more than an ornamental plant, it is traditionally used to treat everyday pains, insect bites and headaches. Great for making blends that help relieve pain and inflammation. Tiare Absolute is excellent for the skin due to its anti-inflammatory, refreshing, moisturizing and regenerating effects. It helps to slow down the signs of aging (wrinkles, age spots) and contributes to the restoration of the skin's brightness and softness, penetrating the skin, re-hydrating the layers of the epidermis and protecting the skin from external damage, including the sun and wind.
