      Product description

      Regardless of the number of PCIe power connectors on the graphics card (1 x 8-pin or 2 x 8-pin), the orientation of the connectors is key to choosing the right WireView GPU. WireView GPU is available in “Normal” (N) and “Inverted” (R) versions.

      If the graphics card - or expansion card in general - is equipped with PCIe power connectors where the mounting terminals face the opposite direction of the PCB, then the "N" version is required. In a standard horizontal graphics card installation, this is at the bottom. The "N" version is the most common connector orientation.

      If the graphics card uses PCIe power connectors where the connector's mounting pins face the opposite direction to the PCB, the "R" version is required. For a standard horizontal installation, this is on top. This is easily identified by the recesses on the PCB for the connector's fixing terminals. The "R" version is also used by ASUS, among others.
