The Thermal Grizzly Direct Die Frame for AMD Ryzen 7000 is a mounting frame for Ryzen 7000 series processors in the AM5 socket whose heatspreader has been removed. It allows a cooler to be mounted directly onto the die, which can improve heat transfer. The frame is made of black anodized aluminium and is secured with screws.
It is compatible with the Ryzen 5 7600, 7600X, Ryzen 7 7700, 7800X3D, Ryzen 9 7900, 7900X, 7900X3D, 7950X and 7950X3D. The package includes four UNC 1/4" pan head screws, a 5/64" hex key and a T20 Torx key.
Dimensions are 53 × 70 × 4 mm, and the frame weighs 50 g.
