TERRAMASTER T12-500 Pro

The TerraMaster T12-500 Pro is a NAS file server designed for small and medium-sized businesses that need high-performance, secure and scalable data storage. It is powered by a 10-core Intel Core i7-1255U processor that reaches up to 4.7 GHz in Turbo mode, and comes with 16 GB of DDR5 memory that can be expanded to 64 GB. Twelve drive bays accept 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch HDDs or SSDs.

Two 10GbE LAN ports provide fast data transfers and can operate in link aggregation mode, which helps teams access shared files and back up data more quickly. Two M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 slots can be used as cache for higher read and write speeds, and hot-swap support lets you replace drives without shutting the device down.

For data protection, the system offers AES encryption for volumes and shared folders, OTP authentication, a built-in firewall, and integration with Active Directory and LDAP. Snapshots allow earlier file versions to be restored. According to the manufacturer, the noise level is only 24.5 dB(A), so the unit suits office environments.
