The TerraMaster TM-D5-310 is an external direct-attached storage (DAS) enclosure with five bays, connecting to your computer via a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port. It accepts 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA hard drives as well as SSDs, letting you combine a large total capacity in one unit.
The built-in hardware RAID controller lets you choose the operating mode directly with the switch on the back panel: Single, RAID 0, 1, 5 or 10. No separate software installation is required. This makes the enclosure well suited to moving large amounts of data quickly and storing it securely.
A temperature-controlled fan keeps the drives cool and quiet, while built-in power protection safeguards them. The enclosure works smoothly with both Windows and Mac systems.
