Every page holiday: a tribute to a oeuvre that shaped the imagination of generations. This volume is a real treasure for anyone who loves fantasy, art - and Tibor Szendrei's heritage.

The secret power of an artist in the lines, in the pencil sections, Tibor Szendrei shows how his thoughts on paper come to life. This 256 -page hardwood album is not simply a selection of sketches: it gives a glimpse into the depths of the artistic process, where the first, naked idea appears as faint contours and then becomes a detailed work.

The book is a selection of fantasy, sci-fi and historical novels plans, cardwork work and pre-work on other illustrations. There are also pencil sketches, pen drawings, paper + graphite combinations and digital sketches. Most of the illustrations are the creator's own work: graphite pencil, paper, brush or digital drawing tool alternates during drawing.

Each page carries the tension of the creative moment - the raw lines, the shadows, the shapes that have not yet become fully elaborate. In the text, Szendrei summarizes his working method, inspiration and the history of the book.

This album is not just an illustration selection - but a dialogue between the artist and the reader. From the idea outlined to the dreamed image, the road leads, and you can be part of all features, shadows and light.
