The author Károly Kós is an award-winning woodcarver, master of folk art, regular member of the Hungarian Academy of Arts, who received the decisive impetus and constant renewal for his extremely rich oeuvre from his native Ormánság. The purpose of his book is to commemorate the painted, coffered churches located here, their creators, and the Hungarian Reformation, and to contribute to the 500-year anniversary with works. The Author's writings provide a brief analysis of the aforementioned. On behalf of EMMI, Szatyor produced "king tapes" also painted for the 112 Reformed churches of Baranya county, of which the ones made for the churches in Ormánság are included in the book, whose introductory thoughts were formulated by Péter Hoppál. The photos were taken by EFIAP photographer György Mánfai.
