This active adapter cable connects a desktop computer with a DisplayPort 1.4 output to an HDMI 2.0b monitor, allowing 4K 60Hz HDR video to be displayed. The one-metre cable provides up to 18 Gbit/s of bandwidth and supports 4096×2160 and 3840×2160 resolutions, the 4:4:4 and RGB colour spaces, 7.1-channel audio, and the HDCP 1.4/2.3 and HBR3 standards.

Its active circuit design uses adaptive receive equalisation to optimise the incoming signal and boost the outgoing signal, improving display compatibility. Gold-plated connectors and EMI shielding help maintain reliable signal quality and protection against interference.

The cable is compatible with desktop computers from Dell, HP, Lenovo and other manufacturers, as well as with integrated and dedicated Intel, AMD and Nvidia graphics processors. It is backward compatible with 4K at 30Hz, 1080p and lower resolutions. No external power supply is required.
