Product description
The StarTech.com 7 Slot Media Converter Chassis is a rack-mount enclosure that houses up to seven media converters, offering centralised, high-density management in a compact 10-inch design. Built for enterprise, telecommunications and data centre networks, it simplifies power distribution and reduces cable clutter.
Each slot is hot-swappable and independently powered, so individual units can be replaced without shutting down the others. The chassis supports Fast, Gigabit and 10-Gigabit Ethernet converters, VDSL2 converters and Serial-over-Ethernet converters side by side. An AC power supply is included, with optional AC or -48V DC redundant power available.
The metal chassis is fitted with dual cooling fans and LED indicators for efficient heat management and easy status monitoring. It carries FCC, CE and UL certification and complies with TAA requirements.
