    Product description

    This StarTech.com PCIe expansion card adds four external USB-A ports rated at 10Gbps to desktop computers and servers. Four independent USB controllers allow each port to reach the full 10Gbps speed on its own, reducing bottlenecks and improving overall data transfer performance. It connects via PCI Express x4.

    The USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard offers high bandwidth, making the card well suited to moving large files, editing high-resolution photos and video in real time, backing up mobile devices, and running fast USB network adapters. Each USB-A port provides charging power of up to 5V/2A (10W). If the motherboard cannot supply enough current, the built-in SATA power connector can provide additional power.

    The card works plug-and-play on Windows, macOS and Linux, and is compatible with PCIe x4, x8 and x16 slots.
