Product description
The StarTech 15-Slot Media Converter Chassis MCM15-MEDIA-CHASSIS is a black chassis that houses up to fifteen media converters in a compact 19-inch rack-mountable unit. Designed for enterprise, telecommunications and data center networks, it simplifies power distribution and reduces cable clutter in high-density installations.
The chassis manages Fast, Gigabit and 10-Gigabit Ethernet converters, VDSL2 converters and Serial-over-Ethernet converters in a single unit. Each slot is hot-swappable and independently powered, so expansions or replacements can be carried out without interrupting service. An optional hot-swappable redundant power supply (RPS) is available for continuous operation.
The sturdy 2.4U metal housing features two cooling fans for heat dissipation and LED indicators for quick status monitoring. It carries FCC, CE and UL certifications.
