Fritanga is an unusual board game with a cooking theme, where the playing board is itself a deep fryer. Players take on the roles of different foods, and their only goal is survival. They hop between the gaps in the fryer basket, and anyone who cannot make a move falls into the hot oil and is eliminated.

The game offers three modes: everyone against everyone for 3 to 7 players, a semi-cooperative mode against the chef, and a team mode with two equal teams. Each mode comes with its own cards, so every version offers a fresh experience.

A round is split into two phases. In the first, you can play any number of cards to reach a better position or to hinder your opponents. In the second, you move one or two spaces, and revealed cards may trigger special effects.
