Days Gone is based on a familiar premise, as we pick up our protagonist, Deacon St., two years after the start of the zombie apocalypse. We will take up the thread of John's story, but this time we will not take up the role of a hero who stands up for the defenseless. St. John spends his days as a Drifter, a kind of itinerant bounty hunter and mercenary, after judging his own existence to be pointless. In a world that only vaguely resembles the past, he has to rediscover the meaning of his life, which he seems to have lost after previous tragedies and losses. In addition to Deacon, we can get to know the stories of many other survivors in Days Gone, focusing on the feelings that make us human: determination, loss, madness, betrayal, friendship, regret, love and hope.
