The first SJCAM sports camera capable of recording 2K 2560×1440p and 4K 3840×2160 (interpolated) resolution. The camera images are displayed locally on the built-in 2" display, which is common on the 5000 series. Also new are the hardware (Gyro) image stabilizer and the Sony IMX078 sensor.
Sports cameras are specially designed and manufactured to withstand extreme conditions. Thanks to its weatherproof, waterproof, dustproof and shockproof casing, the camera is perfectly suited for both land and water sports. Thanks to its small size and weight, it can even be attached to a crash helmet, and the resulting "first person perspective" experience can not only provide entertainment but also help with practice or education. In addition to sports, it can be used for urban transport (bicycle, car, motorcycle) and for recording traffic events. Thanks to its internal battery, it does not require an external power source.
