Upstate New York, 1982: Viv Delaney prepares to move to New York, and to earn money for the trip, she takes a job as a night receptionist at the Twilight Motel in the small town of Fell. However, the place gives off a very strange atmosphere, and soon spooky and scary things happen.

Upstate New York, 2017: Carly Kirk has never been able to forget the story of her aunt Viv, who mysteriously disappeared from the Twilight Motel before she was even born. He decides to move to Fell and visits the motel. Arriving, he quickly discovers that not much has changed since 1982... and before long, he too is gripped by the mystery that was once Viv's doom.
