SILVERSTONE SST-CS240 NAS Chassis

The SilverStone SST-CS240 is a compact server-tower chassis built for Mini-ITX motherboards, making it well suited to NAS builds and home servers. The front panel combines an aluminium door with a plastic bezel, while the frame is made of steel for a stable and durable structure.

The case supports four 2.5-inch U.2 NVMe/SAS/SATA tri-mode SSDs with hot-swap capability. The built-in backplane features a SlimSAS 8i connector and is compatible with PCIe 4.0. An internal 3.5-inch drive bay and a full-size expansion slot provide room for additional storage and cards.

Cooling comes from a pre-installed 120 mm black fan at the front, two 120 mm black fans on the sides, and room for an additional 120 mm fan at the rear; alternatively, three 80 mm fans can be fitted. The front panel offers one audio jack, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports and one USB-C 2.0 port. At 22 litres in volume and measuring 21.1 x 28.5 x 36 cm, the chassis stays compact without sacrificing expandability.
