Internally, both the 5.25-inch drive enclosure and power supply mounting positions are interchangeable between front and rear configurations.

Multiple expansion card configurations - The RM47-502-I supports up to SSI-EEB format motherboards, paired with a total of 11 PCI expansion slots. Of these, 8 sockets are low profile, while the remaining 3 are standard height and vertically positioned. This setup easily accommodates 1 high-end consumer graphics card along with multiple expansion cards, adapter cards, and more.

Excellent cooling capabilities – In line with SilverStone's rack-mountable design philosophy, the RM47-502-I is compatible with liquid cooling radiators up to 280mm in size, increasing the cooling capabilities of the server case, enabling efficient heat dissipation and optimal performance.
